just to let you know, i have at least about 15 - 20 new baby plecos, they are about 1cm long now ang getting bigger and fatter.

thanks very much, i have now about 15 babys, my local aquatic ahop have never heard of any bristlenosed plecos breeding in a comunity tank.
I will keep you informed and let you know of any developments and if they are plecos.

thanks mate, i will keep them in the breeding trap as there are fish in the tank that will eat them. there are now about 5 - 7 going mad within the egg clump, if they survive what do i feed them on? anything special and how long do the sacks last for??

I have just had to cut my bristle nosed pleco out of a log, when i managed to free him i found a clump of yello/orange eggs. On putting them in a breeding trap i have noticed that one has hatched and is attatched to the sack. it is about 5mm and opac in colour, is it a baby pleco? if so i have about...

Any one please help.....i have a male bristle nosed pleco, and on his face covering one eye and down to his barbs he has got a white fungus looking growth, it almost looks like snal eggs, any one know what it is??????
