These catfishes are "Lower Xingu" i Think i now where they are from and they will look even better in some lighter Colors in the tank, Then the White Color Will be more clear.

It is around 5-5.5 cm now, i think i grows a little bit slowere then the rest of the batch.

By the way it is a offspring of L399 WF.

But such nice white color catfish should be croosbreed to another catfish that shows alot of white, i have a L450 that shows great part of white also that might ...

I have this very nice Hypancistrus and only this one of it´s kind it is breed from Wild Caught parrents.

If you look at the center body, you can see a smiley


Anybody else that have some strange patteren catfishes to show?

Okay L66.. they dont look like the other´s L66 i have had in my tanks.
but i will let the doubt stand for now...

I agree they dont look good in these discus tank, where they are in quantine.

The are around 7 cm. now, if the size could help.
I could try to get some better photos.

Thanks for the feed back.

I have another group of L450 where i am 100% sure that it is L450 I have seen the parents and trust this breeder. (maybe i have to re consider this )
I can try to take photos of those and post in this tread.

Yes the 2 off theme looks like L450 Santerem.

actully i have another gróup of L450 and they look like this or very simulary, so maybe these also are L450, let´s see if anyonbe else have another clue

and what about the 2 other, what are they?

Please help ID male or female at my collection of L134

Blue bucket = possible female´s (course they was not in a cave :ymblushing: )
Green Bucket = possible male´s they where all in caves.

White bucket = 1 male and 2 female´s striped variant.

All are wild caught.

Okay these very nice plecos are L400, i will give this name.

I have another pleco named L400 with very long tail, so that is why i was a little worried that this might could be another spieces.
Like these, it is not easy to see the long tail, but they are longer than the one above in this ...

But if anyone else can tell me that they are another L number, i really like to hear about it.

I like to call the pleco´s for what they really are...

Sorry, i found the parants at a Fishfarm i Manaus.
So where in the Amazones they are caught i really dont know.

I have a little "clue" about what kind of Catfishes this is, but not for sure.
In 2006 i was in the Amazon, and i brought home the parents from this trip, sorry i have no photo´s of these on this PC.
