I have a little "clue" about what kind of Catfishes this is, but not for sure.
In 2006 i was in the Amazon, and i brought home the parents from this trip, sorry i have no photo´s of these on this PC.

Where in the Amazon did the parents come from? It might help some of the gurus ID them for you if a location can be provided to narrow down the options.
Motorcycles are not an expensive hobby, try keeping L-cats in Australia

Lovely plecos.
More info will definitely help, maybe a couple of pictures of the parents?

Hi
Yes i also think they are L400
But if anyone else can tell me that they are another L number, i really like to hear about it.
I like to call the pleco´s for what they really are...

Re: Please help ID my L-catfishes
Pictures of the parents would really help with identification, IMO. I would say L400 without seeing pics of the parents, but that is strictly a guess. They are patterned differently than my L400 fry.

Re: Please help ID my L-catfishes
They look the same as my L400 fry at the same size....there are at least 2 different plecs called L400 out there too.

Re: Please help ID my L-catfishes
Hello
Okay these very nice plecos are L400, i will give this name.
I have another pleco named L400 with very long tail, so that is why i was a little worried that this might could be another spieces.
Like these, it is not easy to see the long tail, but they are longer than the one above in this topic.
