Please help sex my L333s
Hi,
I have a small colony of L333s. These three fish are the largest of the lot - each is about 8 cm. I have tried to do some research to try and work out how to determine the sex of the L333s but I am not confident. I posted a pic earlier of one of the fish which I believe is a male - A in the ...

Re: feeding BN fry
Congrats on the fry!
Like most replys here, I feed my fry a combination of algae wafers and veggies such as carrot, zucchini and sweet potato. I pop the slices of veg on a paper towel and put them in the microwave for about 30 seconds then let them cool before adding to the tank. This will help ...

Re: Gender of L333
Is there anyone else who can help confirm this fish is male. Let me know if more photos will help and I will post them.

Re: Gender of L333
Thanks bigbird! I really hope he is a male.
Any more opinions will be greatly appreciated...and given that he is 8 cm from nose to end of tail, is it likely that he is mature?

Gender of L333
Hi everyone,
I have done a lot of reading about identifying male and female L333s but I need some help with the fish in this pic.

Re: New to keeping L numbers - please help me
Thanks for the info Larry - it is exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted to make sure that I was doing the right thing for the fish. I will stick to shrimp meat and Hikari pellets for them.
I still throw the occasional piece of shrimp in tanks

New to keeping L numbers - please help me
Hi,
I have just bought my first lot of L number catfish - I got 5 young L333s. I have tried looking up information about feeding them but I have been reading some conflicting information and would like to clear up a few things.
From what I understand, young L333s like a diet of algae but as they ...

Is this really a common bristlenose?
Hi,
I have kept bristlenose catfish for a while and I have both albino common colour variations. I just bought this guy from the LFS as a common but his colouration looks a little unusual. I was wondering if he might be the calico colour variant.
