I've buy 5 hypancistrus 2 years ago as "L201" but the guy who sold them told me that he wasn't sure about this identification because the parents of the babies I bought were maximum 7-8 cm big, and L201 are more like 12 cm big.

Yeah this is exactly this problem, I have 35 babies in a small net, all were really good then I decided to put them in a 20L to give them more space and in 5 days only 2 were still alive. They died one week later, this is really strange, maybe a smaller container is better to feed them, I don't know ...
