Thanks for the information, however, both of my PIctus Catfish have died either from the ich or from treating the ich. We are now in the waiting phase of all this. My kids are really upset because we have a 29 gallon tank and it only has 5 fish in it now. We have 1 pleco and 4 african cichlids ...

I have 2 pictus catfish and they are in with some Cichlids. We just noticed that they both have white spots on their fins and body. Is this a sign of ick or could it be something else? And if it is ick, what should I do to treat it?
