Sorry I have not been great about updating my fish. I have these pictures as well from a few months after I got him, if any of these would be better. I will try to get some new pictures of him tomorrow and will talk about my experience with him after keeping him for over 2 years now.

I am looking to change to substrate I use in my current 125 gallon tank as I did not like the sand I had. So far in the ~20 months I have had it, it has been a very slow grower. Probably only has grown an inch and half in that time, if that.

Water quality is the same as it always I first noticed this about 2 weeks ago so. The fish behaves normally and still moves the eye like there is nothing wrong. I will keep and eye on it
