I'm moving a few thousand miles and must find new homes for my two "common plecos". I think they are L. pardalis and they appear to be the normal adult size. :D They are about 6 years old.
I can't get a picture of them that is more than a spotty blur, even though they spend hours at a time just ...

Well, I've been trying to get decent photos without much luck. Not even bellyshots. You're right--they don't feel like sticking to the glass when you want them to! Anyway, my photography is getting better and eventually maybe I'll get a good picture.

Thank you both for the information. With proper measuring, it does look like my fish are close to the typical size range for L. pardalis . I'll try to get some pictures to verify their identities. Pictures are easy... good pictures are giving me some trouble. :D
