Is 75F too high for S. barbatus?
LFS has some S. barbatus, I would like to add a pair to my mixed cory tank, but from reading their profile, they like it cool and my tank is at 75F. Will it be a mistake?

My group of six juveniles are very active in water that's 70 degrees F, on the lower shelf of a rack. They're in motion all the time and eat like little pigs. The food disappears so quickly. They haven't met a food they don't like!
(I change the water 2-3 times a week, due to their appetite.)

There was a lengthy discussion a couple of weeks ago on the subject of S. barbatus and the temperature:

Comments were made by amongst others Ian Fuller - and that's about as close to "knows everything about Cory's" as you'd every get. He's written a couple of books on the subject, bred almost any cory available on the market (and some that aren't available), etc, etc.
