putting out a feeler (MI, USA)

Post by drpleco »

Due to an (possibly) impending move, I will likely have to give up a significant number of my fish stock. As part of that, I have a breeding group of batasio havmolleri that I may need to rehome. I don't want to make any money on them, since they were given to me by two different members here.

As far as I know their breeding is only the second time in captivity. Practical Fishkeeping has agreed to publish an article about it, as soon as I get the chance to write it up. After that, I would like to hand them off to someone who will continue to breed them. Someone local would be greatly preferred. I am in Ann Arbor, MI but could travel to meet up.

All I would ask would be a donation to planetcatfish, in the neighborhood of $50-$100. Again, this isn't definitely going to happen immediately because I need to figure out if I'm moving, and write the article. I'm just trying to line something up now so that transferring them goes smoothly later. Here's a pic:

I'm hanging onto the fry for now. Thanks a lot!
