Hi everyone!
I've just received two petricola's as a gift, but am very unsure as to their compatability with my tank. I was admiring them in the pet store a few days ago, and the man said that they do well with cichlids, but would definitely get along in my tank (20 G w/5 neons). However, I was just reading about them online and am worried that my substrate (medium-sized gravel) could harm their barbells, or that they will be too big when the mature (they're about 1" right now). Also, are "fake logs" with some caves, and some medium-sized live plants enough hiding places?
Thanks for helping out a VERY confused catfish newbie!

petricola compatibility
Sounds like they will be just fine in your set-up, even when they attain full size. As long as the pH stays in the alkaline range and you try to keep the temperature in the upper 70s they'll be fine.

Feeding...
Great! Thanks for the help! Also, does anyone have any advice on what to feed them? I've heard that they're easy to feed and will eat flake, but although they're very active in my tank they don't seem interested at all.
Thanks again!
