Synodontis angelicus & Hoplosternum littoral

Post by SoS »

Catfish rookie here:

I have a Hoplosternum littoral (6 inches) in a 50 gallon 36 X 18 x 18 with several caves. Would a Synodontis Angelicus get along with a Hoplo in a tank that size?

I think you could be asking for problems. S. angelicus are not renown for being friendly.

Besides, the tank is going to be somewhat cramped for an S. angelicus, which can reach 10" in length.
