This is my first attempt at a "video" of Tropheus.
This file was captured using a Canon PowerShot A540. I captured it at 640 × 480 resolution, 30 FPS, but I don't know what YouTube site does to the quality once uploaded.
The video is 8 minutes, 16 seconds in duration.
My aquarium now has a "corrugated plastic" exterior background (and sideground) painted charcoal gray, to hide those unsightly filter tubes present in hundreds of my pictures. I am using 6 × 40-watt GE "Daylight Deluxe" 6500K T-12 to bring out the "blue" in these Duboisi.
There are 22 specimens of Tropheus Duboisi "Kigoma" in this setup, along with a school of Synodontis Lucipinnis I am trying to grow out before I decide which are "keepers".
The decor is QUITE sparse, but considering my part of the world is under a bunch of snow right now, I can't hardly go "rock hunting," so these guys will need to live with it "as is" in the meantime.
Well, it's late night so the Tropheus weren't exactly "hyper," but it's video nonetheless, which is better than still pictures.
