Loricaria Simillima

Post by sakanaotoko »

I have three Loricaria Simillima and was hoping to get some information on what these guys like to eat. I have them in with some cory's and want to make sure there getting the right and enough food to eat. They seem to stay on the bottom of the tank and do not move very much. What is the tank size requirement as well? Thanks for any information.

Hi sakanaotoko.

I kept some of these for a while and they weren't fussy as long as it was meaty. I fed them...

Tetra prima (color bits)
Hikari algae wafers
Bloodworms
Whiteworms
Mosquito larvae
Mysis
Krill

As far a tank size goes, I would say a minimum footprint would be 36" x 15".
