Greetings all! I've a strange example of a strange Shovelnose here. Around 2 years ago my wife and I bought a tiger shovelnose and had it in a 55 gallon with a redtail catfish and a spotted gar until all of them grew out and we upgraded them to a larger tank. The redtail and gar are both prime examples (the gar floats and does nothing and the redtail eats anything and everything in sight), but the tiger has lost all of it's marking and is now pure albino except for non-translucent dark areas around it's head. I'm not sure what exactly happened. THe water is perfect (pH, everything else perfect conditions) and we're quite concerned.
Is this a 'normal abnormality'?
If someone would be so kind as to explain how, I can post some pictures. TIA!
