Red Panaque nigrolineatus

Post by Mika »

Has anyone seen this in the market?I saw one fish about 10 years ago in Finland. It looked just like basic Panaque nigrolineatus but bottom colour was red! This can be very common in Japan where people buy enourmos mount of cash for rare fishes.Unfortunately i didnt buy the fish.I`m sure that it wasn`t artificially coloured.
Well i wish i was a catfish

I did saw one Panaque recently at the lfs which had more blackish body but with a reddish tail. The dorsal and pectoral fin are of normal colors though.
