S njassae

Post by PsYcHoTiC_MaDmAn »

I've just spoted wild caught S. Njassae on the stocklists, and am really tempted to get them. i was orriginally going to go for 9 petricola from trimar (they had 3for£20) but they dont have them any more. so for the same money i could get 4 S njassae, is that big enough of a group for them???

I think you've been burned before, so maybe this warning is unneccessary, but...
Just make sure that you really believe the seller when they say wild-caught! If it's a seller you know, then that's fine... But there's plenty of "S. njassae" that turn out to by hybrids...

yeah, got burned before (hes still pretty though) and actually paid more for him than these WC.

The only problem is this shop is in Leicestershire and i'm in west wales, and according to google maps, its 185miles there (370miles round trip)

any experience with Natural world in syston

however if their addvertising it as WC surly they have to be WC by law

Sure, and by law all cars need to have the correct milage too - but that doesn't stop some people from selling "clocked" cars, right?

Ask for fresh pictures, and not from a book.

even a mobile phone pic from one of the employees could make sure you don't burn all that petrol just for a bunch of hybrids.

so ask to get someone in that shop to make a picture, mail it to you; you dump it on the forum and we take a look at it.

that wouldn't be too much of a hassle; I mean it's like every other person has one of those mobile phone camera things......

A good LFS has a stocklist and a very good LFS supplies it with their own pix.

Hi everyone

I can probably pop in one day next week on my way home from work, to have a look if anyone wants me to.

I did go in once before to see the advertised S.Contractus - but they weren't! This may not be typical of the fish they have though, a reasonable shop but some nice bits & pieces as a remember & a good general selection
