Hello all
A bait that has done very well for me and at least trebled my catch rate success over the past 4 months or so are the new Carple Steamer Bait range from ?The Bait Master?.
The difference with these baits is that they are steamed instead of boiled to keep in all the flavors and goodness and take it from me they STINK!. Even in the winter month?s, when as we all know the fish become nearly non-existent, these have proved very successful. In the past 4 months I have had over 10 PB?s using these baits which included Carp and the arm wrenching Cats.
Two top cat baits I have been using for the cats are Carple Bloody Squid Steamers and Carple Chicken Liver which have turned up some smackers including a UK cat estimated over the 60lb mark. Also there are pastes you can get in the same flavours to geve even more boost!
Remember these are not boilies????. There STEAMERS!!!!
Anyway find out for yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed. Go to?www.thebaitmaster.com and take a look.
All the best Stav

Re: Wicked baits for catfish
What species are you talking about? There are no catfish native to the UK, and introducing any for angling purposes--such as the wels--is illegal with good reason.stav wrote:including a UK cat estimated over the 60lb mark

Re: Wicked baits for catfish
I think there are several bodies of water in the UK where has been introduced a long time ago. At least, that's what I understood from watching one of the satelite channels of fishing when I was home feeling a bit under the weather a while back.Chrysichthys wrote:What species are you talking about?
