Hi! Im Am...

Post by carrgirl »

My boyfriend and i have gotten ourselves a cat. Not sure if its a boy or girl, but "he" is a Synodontis eupterus (featherfin).

We got him at Big Als out of town. We called him Pokie because he poked holes in the bags while the guy was trying to get him set up. poor pokie had to be re-bagged twice, once he poked through a triple bagging. Finally five bags later he was contained. We got a small tank to take him home in in case he poked more holes. I think his dorsal fin was damaged in the event :-( I hope he heals up will. He sure is a nice fish.

Welcome to PlanetCatfish.

Judging from some of pictures of "damaged" synodontis, I'm pretty sure that your fish will be perfectly fine and not have any visible damage in a few weeks.

minor damage to finnage should be ok in very quick time.
