How Do Fish Deal With Melamine?

I received an e-mail today from a friend about a fish food recall (HBH foods). The recall was in May. I didn't find out about it until now. It turns out there was some melamine in the food. The recall happened along with the other pet food recalls. I had been feeding my fish one of the products on the recall list and didn't know about it(I ran out of the food recently). It was a shrimp pellet made by HBH and sold under a different name. Here's the entire list of the HBH recall:

I'm not an alarmist sort. I wonder if anybody here knows how fish deal with melamine?

That was interesting to read that melamine was a degradation product of some insecticides yet the polymerized plastic form is used for presumably food safe table ware.

Thank you kindly. Let's hope for the best. The fish I gave this food(twice weekly, shrimp pellets) to were Corydoras spp., Otocinclus spp. and Ancistrus(3)sp.. I always keep notes in my journals. I will start another line item denoting the health of these fishes. One of the smaller female Ancistrus (3)sp. died recently, but she may have been weak to begin with. This may have had nothing to do with this food I fed them. Their main meals were zucchini. Time will tell. I would think aflotoxin poisoning is more of a threat when it comes to any dried fish food.
