Corydoras sterbai pictures

Post by bslindgren »

I recently got my hands on some small (1 inch) Corydoras sterbai to join my two big ones. Here are some pictures of two of them (The first one with a small Pangio kuhli.

And the old ones (about 2 inches):

Corydoras sterbai has to be one of the most active and visible cory - it is a definite favorite of mine, although I cna't get hold of much beyond C. aeneus, C. paleatus and the occasional C. panda (which I can't buy because I keep my tanks too warm....)

Anyway, hope you enjoy the pictures.

I raised a lot of Corydoras sterbai last year and managed to get one photo of them shoaling.

Beautiful pix. I recently set up a 20H planted and decided to use C. sterbai as my cory. Anyway, I have a 55 gallon set at 85F and have 9 different species of cories including paleatus, aeneus, and panda. I agree that the temp is not optimal for theses species (esp. for the paleatus), but they are thriving.
Once again beautiful pix.
