Sponge Filters

Post by grokefish »

Does anyone know where I can get Large versions of the little sponge filters that You can get, you know the ones where the bubbles go up the tube to suck the water through?
In the UK LFS or on the internet. These filters seem to be harder to get hold of these days.
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,
Try to find an Azoo distributer. Azoo makes a large variety of pedestal style sponge filters called
Oxygen-Plus BioFilters.

Try there. ;)

I buy a lot of these filters. My Plecos love them, since they develop a lot of algae and microorganisms. :D

The ATI sponge filters are nice. They're also stackable, with a part that costs about $1.50 American. The sizes go from 10 gallon tank to ponds. I'm switching most of my smaller tanks over to these, instead of the hang-on-back filters. I'm wondering if they're available where you are?
