:sing: sign, sign, everywhere a sign...blocking out the scenery...breaking my mind. Do this, don't do that CAN"T YOU READ THE SIGN?

Here in Eastern WA and Idaho, and Montana, the SDOT's place those deer crossing signs up for target practice on those few occasional days when the deer poaching is too slow.
The No Trespassing" signs read, "No Trespassing", "Survivors will be prosecuted" and the insanity defense has been negated by the verdict of "Guilty, but insane".
We are still close to being the Wild West, just a little more than 100 years ago it was still illegal to shoot someone inside city limits but OK outside.

I live in the Oldwild west and these laws are still applicable, I swear these are not made up, really.
These laws have never been withdrawn.

In chester you can still shoot a welsh man inside a cometary but only with a crossbow.

It is illegal for a woman to go topless (Barebreasted)in the UK except for, and you are not going to believe this, in Liverpool, if said female is a clerk in a tropical fish shop.
Beat that.

That, very sadly indeed, is an urban myth. It was posted on the BBC website but they withdrew it.

In my youth... I spent many a day, going into Liverpool, and visiting the pet shops to look at fish.

Well thats my story...and I am sticking to it....

I could understand the "topless female fishkeeper law"... My wife and I do most of our tank maintenance topless. Its not some erotic thing, we just don't want:

1)Wet shirtsleeves that drip down your armpit

2)To get anything like deodorant or fabric softener in the tank.

I didn't get that from the BBC website, but another source, obviously you have been looking carefully into the subject Jools

Such a shame, there was definitely an business venture somewhere in there that I was going to take into the Dragons Den.
Jools, me and some of the guys that I work with were talking about the subject of strange laws, the other day, they are all from Glasgow and they were telling me some of the strange Scottish laws that still apply, I can't remember any except that you have to by Law let someone use your toilet if they knock on your door.
Care to share some of these with us?
Also I read somewhere that it is illegal to keep icecream cones in your back pocket in California.
