Monster Fish Rescue in Ohio!

Hi everyone, We’ve still got some Monster Fish to Rescue! So if you’ve got the appropriate home for these fish feel free to email me at [email protected] and we can discuss the future homes for these fish!

Scientific Name: Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum
Common name: Tiger Shovelnose Catfish (TSN)
What we call em: Tigger 2
Size: 26” (66.04 cm)
Acquire Date: 9-05
Tank required: Foot print of at least 10’x5’ or a large indoor pond.
Comments: This guy started @ 3” in a 55, moved to a 75, then a 240, and now an 800.
Adoption Fee: $75.00

Scientific Name: Phractocephalus hemioliopterus
Common name: South American Redtail Catfish (RTC)
What we call em: BlackySize: 27” (68.58 cm)
Acquire Date: 9-7-07
Tank required: Foot print of at least 10’x5’ or a large indoor pond.
Comments: Blacky’s a good eater! But then again he is a RTC LOL
Adoption Fee: $75

Common name: Clown Knife
What we call em: The Clown Knife
Size: 16”
Acquire Date: 6-5-07
Tank required: A footprint of at least 8'x2' (240 gallon minimum)
Comments: This guy won't eat anything but live food!
Adoption fee: $50.00
