Rubber Plec vari?

Picked this guy up as a reg rubber pleco but recently he developed the spots and reddish tail color.

This is not a sp I have seen before. Some Chaetostoma are known to be sexually dichromatic and I am betting you have a male that has put on his spawning colors for some reason.
