Pimelodella compatibility?
The LFS has had a single Pimelodella for the past couple months. It hasn't really grown (it's about 3.5"). I'm curious as to compatibility with some of the fishes I have and would like, particularly Corys, which are my smallest fish. I have a feeling they'll be all right, but was curious if it was a combo anyone has tried. I've got Pandas and Sterbais, and the Pandas are slightly less than an inch total length (~.75"), and so they're rather small. Other small fish I have is an and Pareutropius buffei, all about 2-2.5" in length. Other tankmates will include L330, Ancistrus sp., a hybrid Syno, and a black lancer. I'd also like to get Tatia perugiae and Kryptopterus bicirrhis in the future.

What species of pimelodella is it?
My first reaction is that you should be ok but there is never a 100% guarantee when mixing fish. The lancer or the syno might possibly be problematic butyou should be ok if there is good floor space with plenty of hiding spaces.

Re: Pimelodella compatibility?
Neither the Syno nor the Lancer bother anyone except when they come into their hiding places. During the night while they're foraging as far as I know they don't bother anyone either. Tank size is 125 gallons (footprint 6' x 1.5').
I have no idea what species of Pimelodella species it is. It's a gracilis or something similar, of which there seems to be many. This fish is unlabeled at the store.

Re: Pimelodella compatibility?
I recall keeping a combination that involved Corydoras and Pimelodella a long time ago. The fish seemed to get along fine.
