My TSN isn't eating

My TSN isn't eating

I got him/her 4 days ago and it hasn't ate yet!!! He/she's only 4 or 4 1/2 " right now. I've been puting cut up shrimp in the tank along with some guppies and still nothing! Any ideas on would it eat. Please help.

Give it some time. It might still be trying to adjust to its new surroundings.

I admit to buying one as my first fish and not knowing diddely about him,The first two weeks i had him he just sat around then he became more and more active and eventualy got to where he would eat ANYTHING. I think if hes not eating within a week you probably have a problem. I started mine off on white meat (halibut,flounder,cod,rockfish) i would drop it in in the evening and in the morning he'd be as fat as could be. Good luck. Im assuming by tsn you mean tiger shovle nose right??
