first of all, welcome to Planet Catfish, unotim123!

to begin with, your cory's should be mature enough to lay eggs. usually they are able to breed between their first and second birthday. next thing is to condition the fish for breeding. this means feeding them lots of tubifex, bloodworms, brine shrimps etc. females will develop a fat body which indicates they are ready to spawn.

your group of 4 cory's might be too small, on the other hand it could be just perfect as it is. if you have 1 female and three males now, it's just fine, although a bigger group will increase the chance of a succesfull spawn.

good water quality is important. you should always keep an eye on that! on that note, let's continue, your fish are now ready to breed. you might see some breeding behavior, males following the gravid female as if there's no tomorrow. now it's time to do a heavy water change, say 50% of the water, and replace this for water that's slightly cooler, say 3 degrees celsius cooler. this usually triggers the cory's to spawn.

I hope this is helpfull in a way!

good luck breeding Corydoras schwartzi
Greetings, Tim

taken from the cat-e-log:

"Has occasionally been bred in the aquarium; breeding follows the usual Cory formula. One published record details a water depth of 20cm, pH of 7.5, GH of 11°, KH 3° at a temperature of 23.3°C in a heavily planted tank."

Natural food could be frosen bloodworms and mosquito larvae or chopped earthworm from the garden. Also live Tubifex, or if you can obtain it, CA Blackworms would be good.

Corys are not vegetarians, although they might nibble algae wafers a bit. They eat insect larvae and crustaeceans in the wild.
