I think the images of Amphilius rheophilus are of A. platychir.

It was imported from Nigeria if that is of any use? Happy to move it, but it seemed to match the description as far as I could tell from teh pics.

This is A, rheophilus from Daget (1962). Doesn't look like the fish in the photograph.
