Not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but I'm getting the "My Aquaria" pictures instead of catfish pictures in the rightmost column on the front page.
If this is intentional, would it be possible to make it user-selectable? I would prefer to see new & changed catfish entries in that column.
EDIT: refreshing the page I realize it is random if Donations, My Aquaria or Species Updates show up in that column. Again, I personally would prefer just Species Updates.
My Aquaria in update column.

Re: My Aquaria in update column.
You've roughly worked it out, each time you visit the page, there's a 2 in 7 chance of getting either My Aquaria, Species or Image update pages and a 1 in 7 chance of getting the donations list.
To make that "personisable", I'd need to run the page through the forum engine (not too hard but much more load on the database) to do all the "are you logged in", cookies and permissions stuff to work out what your preference(s) are. If you're not logged in, I am not sure what to do but probably just as it is just now so as to not hide anything from the search bots.
However, I intentionally designed RSS feeds for the species updates exactly for this reason. That way you can find out what species have been updated even before you visit the site and then make the decision whether to surf on over or not.
Have you tried the feed? Happy to advise on use.
