Status of COL?

Not the right forum, but I get my the synonyms from Catelog of Life these days as FB has been very slow lately. I take it that COL is a good reference.
Any comments?

Which fishbase mirror are you using? I find fishbase.de or fishbase.se a bit better.

Fishbase.org
However, if I hadn't focussed on the names only, I would have noticed earlier that COL is "fed" by FB......

I think Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes is the most authoritative reference.
