What do you think?
It looks a bit precarious perched on that trunk. There looks like only four contact points with the glass. Good luck with thatI hope the antique trunk is really sturdy, since a 55 gal, filled, is about 650lbs!
I'm still willing to make a bet that they aren't H. inspector! Get some photos next time you're in the store. I'd love to be proved wrong! The H. Inspector is certified, so it's exactly what they have, they don't have many though. The guy really knew what he was talking about.
I have to agree - that was my first thought when i saw the picture. Not giving it sufficient support all over could mean you end up with a cracked tank...not good for your fish or the people below you!racoll wrote: It looks a bit precarious perched on that trunk. Which shop was that racoll?I have only ever been to one shop where the pl*cos are treated correctly before sale.
Pier Aquatics in Wigan. All the fish were in just fantastic condition.Which shop was that racoll?
The stats are not official. Just a guess from what I have seen. Some shops are obviously much worse than others.racoll, those stats are terrible, are you having one of those moments like I had a while back?
I do have to get rid off ALL my fish, but not through choice!not thinking of packing it in are you?
Well then they aren't thenThey're exactly like on the pictures I shown previously and the same as someone posted a bit higher. I'm pretty sure it's the same one. They actually take the pictures of their fish themselves if I'm not mistaken
I'm sure they'll come out more once they've settled in. Catfish of all types tend to disappear once they're put into an unfamiliar tank (except corys, which go on exploring trips!)Violence wrote:Since I got the 55 gallon, I barely see my pl*co's, I miss them! I even gave them names! Bubblee, Bubbler and Bubbles, don't I have a great imagination!
Ohh I think I figured out how to quote people weehee (I never posted in forums before, I'm super technologically impaired! Well not really, but about some stuff I'm slow, so pleaseee be patient and loving towards me.)Carp37 wrote:I'm sure they'll come out more once they've settled in. What is the meaning of this?I do have to get rid off ALL my fish, but not through choice!
