New cat-elog entry about Asterophysus batrachus

Post by worton[pl] »

Hey,

new photo of a parent guarding eggs is just great! One day I hope I manage to purchase this fish :).

Is there more specific information about breeding? Is this specimen a female or a male? Looking at this fish it is easy to spot some kind of skin problem. Since breeding occured not long time ago is it possible that whole process is so agressive that fish has wounds caused by matching dance?

Exciting, exciting :).

I don't think you can read much into it, maybe the eggs are as wild caught as the fish. I will endeavour to find out more.
