I need advise on what I can keep with this species
Ok, so I added some bumblebees into one of my vacant 20 gal L's. There are 8 of them in there for the colony along with a couple other odds and ends SA fish. My problem comes up here, I am going to be keeping Elassoma sp (either okefenokee or zonatum) in the 10 gal tank with the open top that I posted in another thread. It really only has about 6-7 gallons with a nice piece of driftwood, a pond plant that is growing out of the top, java moss, water sprite, water lettuce, duckweed etc. The tank has the bubble stone, and a the smallest fluival filter they make (internal filter) I was wondering if there is a small cat species that will live with them (they max out at 1.25-1.5"). That is where my delimma is

Does it have to be from the same continent, or will any catfish do?

Bumblebee's like it a bit warmer than is comfortable for the elassoma's.
also they can and do eat small fish, something that you don't want to happen.
Corydoras paleatus would be a perfect match
it's peaceful, it doesn't eat fish, it stays small and it's active during the day.
and it can and does just fine in unheated tanks.

Re: I need advise on what I can keep with this species
I would love to get some of those hara's, but I have NEVER seen any availble here. My lfs's said they haven't seen them on the order lists ever ( that goes for all hara's). Is there an easier way to find them? I will post a wanted in the wanted/forsale section. Thanks guys!
