A LFS near me just got in a whole tankful of these at .75-1.0" long, labeled as Bumblebee cats. At $2.99 I am tempted to pick up a dozen and grow them out some.
at that price I would rather assume they are dwarf bumbleee catfish (Microglanis iheringi). They are pretty cool too, but won't reach the size you might be looking for.

The point being that these fish are mis-labeled under Microglanis which are sold as "Bumblebee Cats" but are in fact juvenile Pseudopimelodus (they appear to be at least two species... ...from what I can tell thus far none of which are Microglanis)
