Is my cat Healthy

I have a 125g Chiclid tank with a channel cat. The channel cat has what looks to be barbs growing on its top and tail fins. Is this natural for a catfish, or is there something wrong fish?

will try if i can get it of of it's cave I beleive he only comes out at night
