Is "Casper" a albino red eyed Plecostomus?

Post by skwerally »

I guess I just want to get my facts right on my plecostomus'. I have "Casper" who was sold to me as a red eyed pleco, I have been calling him an albino, hence his name "Casper". I also have "George" who is a pleco, but black with white spots. The pic of him is a little fuzzy, but would like to also know his correct name. I only have 3 fish in the tank, Sylvester (Oxydoras niger), Casper & George. I feed them all shrimp & whitefish (fresh) and I have them in a 55 gal, with 2 heavy duty filters. I've had all 3 for aprx 10 yrs and would like to keep them healthy. I Don't know any of their aprx life spans. Also, I've read some like to eat frozen peas?
Any info would be appreciated. Thank you! :D
