That's an S. rufigiensis. Some vendors [we'll leave them unnamed] are infamous for their creativity in "naming" species. They couldn't even spell Wami right...

And when they DO give "scientific names", they often give the wrong names. E.g., their S. polli appears to be S. petricola.

Hello

I think one (cichlids) exporter from Tanzania uses this name as well. Perhaps this is where this names comes from.

Rusty; you sure both pics display S rufigiensis?
because the left one's got a very different shape of mouth, head and whiskers than the right one.
Next to the color, the pointed nose of the right syno is much more evident than the left syno. If both are the same species; it's got a heck of variation in morphology...

and the left -greenish-syno also got a very distinctive colorpattern on the tailfin, the "sky-blue" misses completely, and if I'm still correct, that left one has also a dark dorsal spine..
Plan B should not automatically be twice as much explosives as Plan A

Mochokids are known to have a lot of variation in morphology. It's giving me no end of headaches in my revision of Microsynodontis.
