Centromochlus perugiae

I have two of these, sold as Tatia perugiae, the Honeycomb catfish. In the Cat-eLog they're called the Oil catfish. What's the reason for that common name?

Some theories were laid out here. I think Achim has actually bred these (correct me if I'm wrong).

Hi Rusty,

no im not correcting you, your right :)
In the meantime C. perugiae has been bred by several german breeders. There will be an article in the next DATZ and in the next issue of the BSSW-Report (Both only in German im afraid). There is also an (till now only german) article on my page (http://www.catfishes.org/public/article ... ng=de&id=3) I sent an english version of that article to Jools for corrections (im not that good with english...), so there should be an english version of that article soon.
