Spotted Talking Catfish
Spotted Talking Catfish
Saw this fish on sale. Agamyxis pectinifrons I hope as the fish store labeled them as "spotted talking doradid". Izzit safe to keep them in the same tank with corydoras habrosus as this is my smallest cory in my tank? Do they do well in a pair?? Need more info before buying them.

Assuming they behave similarily to Platydoras, you might be lucky: 20 cm Platydoras will not bother fish over 4 cm, and I never saw Agamystis offered over 8 cm (even that only rarely)

Re: Spotted Talking Catfish
I think it would be fine - they do not have that big a mouth. I wouldn't mix them with, say, Neon Tetra or some such small fish. But Corys have two big benefits - they do not sleep (hard) at night, and they have spiky fins (compared to tetras, they are very spiky).

My habrosus are really tiny. The spotted talking doradid on sale are also still juveniles. Never had such fishes before. I don't think that these doradid will grow really big right?? I mean the spotted ones. Noticed their mouth is pretty big......can easily swallow my other bigger cories too
