I had bristlenose I was breeding and they started when they where 9-12 months old.I was wondering if there are any other pleco that breed that early.All the other pleco I have been looking at say it takes years and I was just curious.

Ancistrus species are certainly one of the fastest maturing and easiest to get to breed.

Most other genera and species take longer to mature, and are harder to get to breed.

Thanks,That's what i figured.What about L-134 I've read about 3-4inches how old would that be because that is my next pleco once I get my new tank all set up.

I can't say what age they need to be, but yes, around 3" is probably the minimum breeding size for these - I'd expect that to take about a year under good conditions, at least.
