Post by BoBzz »

I was just at the LFS yesterday and they had a few tanks with Zebra Pims, I looked through the E-log but cant seem to find what species they are.
They were your average sort of Pimelodid, bout 5-6", short faced(no shovel at all) had several different length black stripes running laterally.
Im not Icthylogist so dont hold my bad description agaisnt me :P

hmm, kinda sounds like the ornate pim, P. ornatus.

if the stripes ran vertically it could be one of many species, but you said it had no shovel nose, so that rules all that I know of out, except the bumblebee cat, and I think that's a pretty easy ID.
