My synodontis eupterus.

Post by Syno_Eupterus. »

Haven't posted here in a while...mostly because I couldn't log in anymore. :D
My "euppy" group is still alive and kicking, they are a fun bunch.
I have always found these fish among the more entertaining to watch. Having a bunch does make them more fun when they interact with each other. Not sure if they engage in the same behavior if they are kept with other species of syno cats.
I 'm not sure if I posted it here, once they were "playing" and one bit another one on the adipose fin while chasing. There was no harm done and it looked like when playing dogs bite each other. Just latched on and then let go.

I'm thinking of starting another breeding attempt with them. I don't have as many of these as I used to as I know it's not very promising...I am trying to breed bettas these days.
At least when they don't feel like breeding they don't attack or kill each other like bettas do.
Gotta condition them first though. Maybe if my originals were/are too old at least the younger ones might be interested/ready this time around :beardy:
I sure have had many, many attempts with breeding my catfish...sadly.
