WAS GIVEN THIS GUY...PICTURE ATTACHED

LOADED WITH SPINES..
EYES AWAY FROM BODY...LOOKS LIKE A FROG...FROM FRONT VIEW...
LOOSE FLAPPY LIPS...
WIDE HEAD..NARROW TAIL END...

DOES NOT MOVE AROUND MUCH...

It looks like it's a bit swollen/bloated. However, it's hard to tell from the photo what the fish really looks like. Could be [but I'm by far not sure] , or perhaps a species.

MORE ONFO ON HIM...

HIS PECK AND DORSAL FINS DO NOT HAVE MUCH "SKIN" ON THEM, HE WILL CRAWL ON BOTTOM OF TANK, HAVE NOT SEEN HIM ON GLASS...

FULL OF BARBS AND SPINES...CHEEK HAS A BALL OF SPINES...

WILL SQUEEK TOO...

AND AGAIN HIS EYES, FROM A FACE VIEW HE LOOKS LIKE A FROG ?

It's not a great photo & it has characters of many different fish - any chance of a couple of better photos? a mouth shot would probably help enormously.

It vaguely reminds me of an argentinian horned toad (head) :lol: but it seems to have large pectorals & the dorsal is down, maybe one of the pleco regulars might be able to give you an ID.

Can you also ease off the capitals please - it's not considered best practice in forums :(

That's an L52, most likely. Possible a large ugly L168, but I lean towards 52.
