nice fish but some of them seem very expensive.

The Japanese pay top whack for fish so they currently get the best selection which command the highest prices - previously some of them haven't been too bad but some of them seem very high indeed!

The brown cetopsid is , which I have seen offered in LFSs here for about USD20 from time to time.

It's one of the smaller Heptapterus species. I used to keep some that looked similar. Very much like Olyra in temperament.
