Agamyxis pectinifrons body
i have an Agamyxis pectinifrons.
it is around 4 inches long and it does not seem to have those plates - on its head and flanks - nor those spikes. is there a problem with it or do these body features take time to grow?

Re: Agamyxis pectinifrons body
A photo really would help. There may be other species that look fairly similar, but lack the features you describe.

At 4" it should have them, I agree a photo would be a good next step.
