Collecting fish from your car?

Post by Shane »

Last weekend I had a snorkel fitted to my Land Rover for river crossings while out collecting. I was looking for information with regards to how deep I can safely take my truck and came across this photo. It never ocurred to me that I could just drive in and collect directly from my vehicle!

You can also try towing a net behind your vehicle and trawl the stream when you drive into it :)

don't they always say, when sinking off some ugly old barge or drilling rig; "it'll become a habitat of marine life"?

In this case fluviatile life, of course....

Plan B should not automatically be twice as much explosives as Plan A

Shane,
One bit of advice. The river shown in the picture...

.. that one's a bit too deep.

Makes a change from pulling out bits of Pheasant from the front grill. Now, all you need is a like minded land rover owner and a large seine net...
