Hello All - I've have past had REEFS in my home, but the level of maintenance/cost for upkeep was too much for me. I'm now thinking of starting an African tank, and need some user advise.
I've shopped around and have found a new tank system being bult by JEBO. All glass, bow front 40G, with a top mount Wet/Dry filter and compact lighing. Any comments on this brand ?
More importantly, I MAINLY want to keep a few catfish of as striking beauty as possible for being one of the heartiest/easiest breed to keep/feed. Can you please give me your opinions and also share w/me what African Cichlids can/should be kept in tank along with those breeds you might recommend ?
Please be kind, as I'm NEW to this & thanks so much - Mike

I would go with Rift Lake synos (e.g. S. multipunctatus, the different forms of S. petricola and S. polli, S. njassae), if you are keeping Rift Lake cichlids.

;) if you dropped the african theme you could do some of the fancy plecos, most beautiful catfishes out there IMO... but if the african theme stays, sil is right
