Madtom Collecting!

Post by nvcichlids »

Well, I am getting a collecting permit for some madtoms. The DNR has allowed the Madison Area Aquarium Society group members to obtain collecting permits for hobby/person education use only. I will be out looking for these in the near future (well after the honeymoon.) I cannot wait!

Take lots of pics of collecting and even non-catfishes collected and share them with us.

Oh I will, i just hope my new camera doesn't get wet lol. I think my first time out will be on the 26th (wedding and honeymoon and all coming first.) If I go on the Wisconsin River, we used to get 20-30 different species each time out (smallmouth and largemouth bass, pike, muskie, bluegill, pumpkin seed, green sunfish, crappie, perch, various bait fish, channel catfish, madtoms, carp, pirate perch, and the occasional flathead catfish.
