P.Pictus..an egg eater?

Post by Phreatobius »

If i was to include some P.pictus in with my breeding pair of severums would they eat the eggs? I dont think they would eat the eggs but im sure they would get a hold of the fry or at least some of them. Im just wondering if anyone has had pictus eating their eggs

I don't know if they will pick off the eggs or not, but I wouldn't chance it. They are pretty "clever" at getting food in general, so I would expect them to figure out how to get the eggs from the severums.
